At Rebecca L. Miller Interiors, we are passionate about our clients and their desires to create a harmonious and welcoming home. Rebecca Miller, the Founder, started her career in the fashion industry working with high-end Italian and German apparel designers. She transitioned into interior design and home furnishings over 20 years ago. Rebecca’s Fort Lauderdale based firm was established in 2002, she specializes in creating spaces that are current yet timeless, sophisticated yet comfortable.

 

While we primarily work in the residential field, we have also had the pleasure to complete many luxury yacht interiors and commercial design spaces for our clients. We revel in creating uncluttered, airy spaces which reflect our client’s emotions and the beauty of our coastal settings.

 

Service to others and giving back to the community is integral to our business philosophy. One of our most special ventures was completing a project for a local Christian ministry, Trees of Hope. We created a healing retreat in a small cottage on the property of Calvary Chapel Midtown in Wilton Manors. There at the Trees of Hope House, people who have suffered childhood sexual abuse receive ministry committed to healing their wounds and making them whole again. It was a privilege to make this space a serene and welcoming setting for that process.

The start of a new designer-client partnership is a collaborative process to discover if both parties are compatible. The choice of a designer is an intensely personal one, as they will be assisting you in creating the ideal surroundings for your daily life and most personal moments. Much like music and art, interior design speaks to each of us differently.

 

Our process begins by meeting with the client to discuss their upcoming project, with a walk-through of the existing space or review of their current plans. This is important as both client and decorator need to be comfortable and compatible. Our goal is to listen to the client’s needs, wishes and dreams so that we can determine what is necessary and possible to make their home welcoming and livable. A home that feels timeless and refined.

 

We will provide you with an outline of the project including the stages, time frame and design fees before embarking on a designer-client relationship.
